Major Junior/NCAA

Two proven pathways lead toward the professional game, each offering distinct advantages. Major Junior provides a direct, high-level route built on elite competition and daily development. NCAA offers a combination of athletic growth, academic opportunity, and long-term flexibility. At Yarema Hockey, we help players and families assess both paths carefully and build a development plan aligned with the athlete’s abilities, academic goals, and long-term ambitions.

NCAA Update

• CHL players are now eligible for NCAA Division I hockey if they’ve received no more than actual and necessary expenses.

• NCAA Division III will allow former major junior players to play beginning 2026-27 season.

• ACHA has ruled that beginning of the 2025-26 season major junior players will be eligible to play ACHA.

Junior A

Junior A hockey remains a respected pathway toward NCAA hockey and professional opportunities, giving talented players from North America and Europe the platform to develop in a competitive environment, gain meaningful exposure, and build toward the next level of the game.

At Yarema Hockey, we provide dedicated support for Junior A players by identifying the right environment for growth, building development-focused plans, and creating exposure strategies that position each athlete for what comes next. Whether the goal is NCAA hockey, further junior advancement, or professional opportunity, our focus is on maximizing exposure, creating momentum, and building a strong foundation for long-term success.

Professional (Men's)

At Yarema Hockey, we support players pursuing professional opportunities in North America and Europe with guidance built around fit, timing, and long-term development. Our work includes contract negotiation, player marketing, and strategic advice on role, progression, and career direction. Representation is about more than placement. It is about building a sustainable professional career.

Professional (Women's)

The women’s professional game is evolving quickly, and it deserves representation that understands its realities and its potential. At Yarema Hockey, we support female players pursuing professional opportunities in North America and Europe, focusing on realistic options that match their level, development stage, and long-term goals. Our guidance includes identifying the right leagues and roles, navigating salary, benefits, and contract terms, and explaining league expectations, travel, and lifestyle demands. NCAA (W)/U Sports (W)

Balancing elite hockey with serious academics requires structure, clarity, and the right support. At Yarema Hockey, we help female student-athletes navigate NCAA and U SPORTS opportunities so they can find programs that fit both their game and their education. Our guidance covers eligibility and timelines, scholarship and financial considerations, and the recruiting process from first contact to school visits. Our College Advisor Program is built to align each athlete’s long-term goals with the right school, program, and team, so they can excel on the ice and in the classroom.
